How To Use As I Am Jelly
Direction:
- After hair has been shampooed, conditioned, and detangled, it is possible to apply As I Am Jelly after cleansing.
- Spray when the hair is still very damp.
- Avoid rigorous towel-blotting more than necessary.
- Afterwards, liberally apply Born Curly Argan Leave-In Conditioner & Detangler using directions on the package.
- After that, use a wide-tooth comb to detangle the hair in small sections from the root to the tip.
- Smooth Born Curl Argan Curl Defining Jelly along the lengths of your hair in smaller sections.
- Define curls as you get close to the finish of each segment by coiling your fingertips around one another.
- The natural coil/curl pattern can also be defined on longer hair by finger-raking or finger-coiling.
- If hair starts to dry before styling is finished, mist it with As I Am JBCO Water to keep it wet.
- In order to set the definition and prevent frizz, let the hair dry completely. Drying by air is advised.
- You can use a hood dryer on a low setting for older kids who are able to remain still for the duration of the hair drying process.
- If desired, fluff, divide, or arrange coils or curls to create a finesse style, but only after the hair has dried completely.
- Just re-dampen the hair with water and massage with fingertips to re-define curls.
