How to Use As I Am Co-Wash
Direction:
- Thoroughly wet your hair.
- Distribute a generous amount into hair after rubbing in palms.
- As you would with a traditional shampoo, work the product through your hair and massage it into your scalp.
- Gently use a wide-tooth comb to untangle your hair.
- Thoroughly rinse.
- Only repeat if necessary to get rid of extra product buildup or for additional scalp washing.
- Continue conditioning. Apply either As I Am Leave-In Conditioner or As I Am Hydration Elation Intensive Conditioning Therapy.
Tips
- Make sure to thoroughly untangle the hair while it is dripping wet and saturated with the product you are using, either during the shampooing or conditioning steps.
- Use a paddle brush to detangle if you want, or a wide-toothed comb.
- You shouldn’t do the last rinse before detangling.
- As you lather while shampooing, keep your hair in a smooth downward alignment.
- Bunching, cleaning, strong scrunching, and other actions could result in significant tangling.
